Residents Enjoy a Memorable Day Out on the Watercress Line

In September 2025, we held one of our favourite outings — our much-loved Watercress Line trip. Forty of our residents joined us for a truly memorable day aboard the Mid Hants Railway, also known as the Watercress Line. This historic heritage railway runs between the charming market towns of Alton and Alresford in Hampshire, offering beautiful countryside views and a nostalgic step back in time.

The day included return transport, a 90 minute scenic steam train journey, and a delightful afternoon tea with a hot drink. Residents enjoyed a relaxed afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and great company — making it a wonderful experience for all who attended.
