At Portsmouth Rotary Housing Association, we are proud of our achievements in delivering excellent services to people in housing need, who are aged 55 and over, since 1969.
PRHA is one of many of the UK’s smaller housing associations that have a strong customer focus. We have recorded successive satisfaction scores of between 96 and 97% during three independent surveys undertaken between 2018 and 2024.
The Association was founded by the committed members of the Portsmouth and Southsea Rotary Club. The Association is independent from the Rotary Club however there remains a connection with four board members being Rotarians.
The Association owns and manages 196 dwellings across 14 locations in Portsmouth and Fareham. The accommodation is designed for independent living and four of our sites can cater for resident events and meetings.
Investment in our properties is ongoing, as is our commitment to excellence and partnership working with organisations delivering services to people aged 55 and above.
“It is hard to describe the wonderful feeling of having somewhere to call home, a proper toilet, kitchen and warmth, all this made possible by the Rotary Housing Association and its staff who really care about people and their circumstances. The whole process has been a joyous experience reinforcing the belief that there are good people in this world who exude warmth and professionalism. I cannot thank them enough for making my life whole again.”
